Music

If you are like the majority of people, you listen to music. While you work. While you play. While you drive in your car. One thing you might notice is that if you listen to a song long enough it’ll change you act and behave. Let’s assume you are listening to a song that says over and over again that says “I wanna play Minecraft,” then you might think ‘Hey, maybe I should play some Minecraft.’ Same goes for songs about drugs.

Avoid listening to songs about alcohol or drugs. Even if you don’t think you are listening, they will still be there, stuck in your mind. Remember as you listen to music, it is being wired into your mind, and if it’s an inappropriate song, you’ll have inappropriate thoughts. Listen to depressing songs, and you’ll be depressed. Listen to love songs, you’ll want to be in love. Pay attention to these things.

This is partly why young children should not listen to songs with bad ideas in them. Adolescent humans are highly impressionable. Feed them the wrong stuff into their brains, and eventually you and your child will pay for that mistake.
