A New Life

It’s a new life for us as COVID19 reaches out and takes hold of our world as we know it. It’s been hard for everyone, seeing people off screen has been ripped away from us for over a week now, and virtual communication just isn’t enough for a lot of us. It isn’t the same as hugging someone in real life. Six feet apart is too far away to play wrestle. Most relationships are left starving and hungry for more social interaction. At the same time lots of other worldwide conflicts are happening at the same time. Human beings are not meant to be shut inside a house, and given a single screen to stare at for hours strait. Many friends are tearing each other apart about their politics, or simply trying to ignore their different politic views altogether. If you are like the majority of people and are finding it hard to pull through this hardship, then here are a few useful ideas to help you:

  1. Start a Journal  inside a spare notebook. Write daily entrees in it about your life and what recent events just became a part of your life. It helps you get out your feelings, and a journal or diary will never reject you, or be disgusted by the problems in your life that you are writing in it. It can also help to talk weekly to your closest friends about your life and what the mental impact of all of these issues are doing to you.

2. Listen to music with lyrics that symbolizes belief in fighting against the drawbacks of the world, that signify pulling through hardship. One that has most of these standards is called “Fight Song.” Read my new article, Music, to learn more on this topic.

3. Make life exciting especially for kids it make them happy to get exercise toys. Here are some ideas and age ranges: Ages 3-9 Hoppity Hops, Indoor Swings, Trampolines, dress-up Ages 10-15 Skip-it game, Pull-up bar, Indoor Swings Ages 16+ Electronic Coding Programs(such as Scratch etc.), Fitness sets(such as weights)

4. Commit to something such as a close relationship to your spouse or kids, or simply to learn something new. For example you could commit to learn how to program a video game, or learn to draw as well as possible. You might really want to dive into science, then you might want to watch educational videos about that subject, if you are this website has very creditable videos and information: Kurzgesagt

I like to draw anime, I find drawing the human body very interesting and I like to sketch an image about how I feel at the moment, or about something I have learned or experienced recently. There are endless things to explore and an infinite supply of doors to open.

The doors are there. You simply have to make the choice to open them.
